Moorabbin Airport is undertaking an emergency exercise on Tuesday 28 June 2022 between 9:30am and 1:00pm.
As a result, multiple emergency service personnel and vehicles will be visible on the airfield and throughout the aviation precincts.
The objectives of the exercise include:
- testing the validity of the Moorabbin Airport Aerodrome Emergency Plan (AEP);
- statutory safety compliance;
- communications between MAC and responding emergency agencies; and
- practicing the establishment of a multi agency command centre.
