Facilities

The airport has a terminal building for passengers and operators to use during normal business hours. The facility is available after hours by pre-arrangement. CASA also has a regional office on the airport. (See below)

Our Passenger Terminal is on the RH (southern) side of the MAC complex.
Airport Management offices are on Northern Side of the complex
A Dornier 328 Regional 34 seat jet taxies away having visited the field in Feb 2001 on a demonstration sales tour after the Australian Downunder Airshow. N328JT.
This proves that Moorabbin can successfully operate the new generation of regional passenger aircraft easily.
Greg Norman's Gulfstream 4 N1GN is a regular user of Moorabbin Airport.
CASA's New Regional HQ Building is at Moorabbin Airport. The construction of this building was project-managed by MAC and is leased by MAC directly to CASA.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) and the Ambulance Service use King Air 200 and Pilatus PC12 aircraft and operate as required several times per week into YMMB. Patients are transferred to the Monash Medical Centre in Clayton. (VH-MWS)

Moorabbin Airport has a common user terminal facility which is upgradeable in the short term to provide baggage and check-in facilities for regional operations. These facilities are suitable now for executive charter operations.
Alternatively direct vehicle to aircraft transfers of charter passengers may be available during business hours.
Public parking is available within 50 metres of the terminal building and this, coupled with a simple and quick transit to the aircraft is most attractive to the leisure market. Business travellers also appreciate the short transit times when compared with multi-gate domestic terminals.
